With that in mind, I gave LSLEditor a whirl under Mono 2.4.4 and Debian 5. It started up and seemed to run just fine, although the text hardly showed up with my curent theme settings. I created a new script, and ran the default one that LSLEditor fills in automatically. Seemed to go just fine. I would hardly call this an exhaustive test, but it seems pretty promising.
So go ahead and download LSLEditor, and try running it under Mono. I bet the LSLEditor developer would love to hear how well it works... or even how badly.
